The bill allocates $110 billion for roads, bridges, and major projects; $66 billion for rail and Amtrak; $42 billion for ports, waterways, and airports; $39 billion for transit; $7.5 billion for electric vehicle infrastructure; and $7.5 billion for low or zero-emission buses and ferries. It also allocates $65 billion for broadband expansion; $55 billion to improve drinking water; $50 billion to mitigate climate change and ward off cyber-attacks; $21 billion for environmental remediation to address pollution; and $11 billion for transportation safety programs.
