Tom Landry - 2026 IWLA Hall of Fame Inductee

Tom Landry is an icon in the staffing industry dating back to 1986. In 2002, he co-founded Allegiance Staffing where he created and successfully implemented the Allegiance “3-Way” hiring system. This system dramatically produced high-quality talent and delivered unparalleled retention rates. Named one of the “Top 100 Influential People in the Staffing Industry” by Staffing Industry Analysts, he is the past president of the Texas Association of Staffing. He also served on the Safety and Worker Comp Committee of the American Staffing Association, where he helped rewrite OSHA guidelines relating to temporary staffing.

Landry began his relationship with IWLA in 2011 as a partner member. He served as both a member and as chairman of the Inclusion & Diversity Council (now the IWLA Workforce Development Council). During this service, he led a second-chance employment study with Butler University. Allegiance is known for its collectible branded golf caps distributed during the IWLA Golf Classic.

Landry served three terms as a partner director on the IWLA Board of Directors, bringing to light the most recent developments in the staffing industry for warehouse logistics operators, ensuring IWLA members understood the benefits and potential liabilities of these trends.

He gives back by sharing his expertise:

  • Presenting at the WERC Conference on Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Leading sessions during the IWLA Technology & Operations Conference on Affordable Care Act compliance.
  • Speaking four consecutive years at the Contract Packing Association Annual Meeting and served on the CPA Board of Directors.
  • Publishing several papers on effective purchasing of talent to reduce costs.

As the president of Landry Consults, helping companies maximize their labor spend and avoid potentially dangerous financial pitfalls. He spends half his time in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, with his wife, Doy, where he organizes corporate meetings, ministry events, and golf retreats.
