PDG Publishes Blueprint for DSCSA Interoperability

As an active member of the Partnership for DSCSA Governance (PDG), IWLA has collaborated with other PDG members in the FDA public-private partnership forum to develop the Foundational Blueprint for 2023 Interoperability.

The Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) requires electronic, interoperable tracing among pharmaceutical supply chain partners by November of 2023. The Blueprint documents important compliance requirements and business requirements to support the effective, efficient implementation of the DSCSA’s 2023 requirements and is intended to be adopted throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain industry by PDG members and non-members alike.

IWLA continues to collaborate and discuss best practices for operationalizing the content of the Blueprint. PDG will host a series of public workshops to discuss the content of the Blueprint and next steps as industry works toward full compliance with the DSCSA 2023 requirements. The workshops are open to all, and further information is available at: https://dscsagovernance.org/blueprint/.
