The Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital Council hosted an outstanding event in Washington, D.C., featuring 100 Girl Scouts and 50 mentors. Leslie Ajlouny and the Evans Distribution Systems team were highly impressed with the scouts, who came prepared to articulate their goals and pose insightful questions. It was exciting to discuss opportunities for women in supply chain with the girls. Since Evans Distribution Systems supports Girl Scouts USA with fulfillment services for their digital cookie program, it was easy to relate supply chain concepts to something they are very familiar with – Girl Scout Cookies.
