ACD Applauds Designation of Laura DiBella to Serve as Chairman of Federal Maritime Commission

Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) President and CEO Eric R. Byer released the following statement after President Donald J. Trump designated Laura DiBella to serve as the Chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC):

“ACD congratulates Laura DiBella on her designation to serve as Chairman of the FMC. The U.S. maritime supply chain is a critical component of the chemical distribution industry, and the FMC plays an important role in upholding the success of ocean shipping for businesses that rely on it. DiBella’s previous port experience paired with her government affairs background will serve her well in this role. We look forward to working together to ensure American businesses remain competitive in the years to come.”

Last year, ACD released a statement of support of DiBella’s nomination to the FMC.
