Bob Moran, CWLP - 2026 IWLA Hall of Fame Inductee

Bob Moran, CWLP, is a leader and entrepreneur with a long history of giving back to the warehouse community. Thankfully for the warehousing industry, Bob ran out of money while driving a truck to pay for his college tuition. He took this setback as an opportunity to start his own trucking company. Thus began a career in warehousing and logistics spanning over four decades.

Throughout his career, Bob has held roles in operations and sales, serving as executive vice president and president, and eventually became the Founder and CEO of First Logistics Management Services, the CEO of Flagship Logistics Group, and an Operating Partner at Creo Capital Partners.

As an educator and volunteer, Bob has elevated and inspired those working in the logistics industry. His contributions include:

  • Board Member and Chairperson of the Supply Chain and Logistics Committee for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce
  • Adjunct Instructor at Joliet Junior College and The American Management Association
  • He served in various chair and board positions for the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC) and the Council of Logistics Management.

His contributions to IWLA include serving on Marketing committees, instructing courses such as Essentials of Warehousing and Cost, Rates, and RFP responses since the early 1990’s. Bob humbly served as an IWLA board member from 2005 to 2008 and also received the Distinguished Service and Leadership Award in 2009.

As an advocate for veterans and their caregivers, Bob formed strategic partnerships with the Wounded Warrior Project and Hiring Our Heroes and championed an inclusive, veteran-staffed Customer Care Center.
