WOW Logistics recently appointed Liz Whitaker as Chief Operating Officer.
Whitaker brings more than 20 years of leadership in temperature-controlled warehousing and cross-border operations.
As COO, Whitaker is responsible for enterprise operations across the organization with accountability for performance, execution, and results. She will also support growth by overseeing new capacity and services, integrating acquisitions and facilities, and aligning planning and performance management to enable clear accountability and timely decision-making.

Short-term, she will prioritize developing a thorough understanding of the company’s operations while strengthening cross-functional execution and optimizing processes that drive performance, quality, and customer experience.

Prior to WOW Logistics, Whitaker was with Americold as Director of Operations, Northeast. In this role, she oversaw eleven facilities totaling more than 2.4 million square feet generating over $116 million in revenue. She achieved an exceptional customer retention rate, a best-in-class safety total recordable incident rate (TRIR), and strengthened organizational performance through succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
