The IWLA California Chapter held its quarterly legislative and regulatory update webinar on June 10, providing members with timely insights into the 2025 legislative session. The team from FJK Government Affairs outlined several key proposals with major implications for the 3PL warehouse industry, including AB 98 cleanup legislation, the proposed expansion of CARB’s authority under AB 914, and SB 310, which would significantly broaden wage and hour penalties under PAGA. The discussion also covered CARB’s recently rescinded ACC II, ACT, and Omnibus waivers, the status of the zero-emission forklift rule, and how current state budget dynamics could shape future regulatory priorities.
